Portuguese steamship Lobito with war stores and fuel underway to the Azores in July 1941

In his letter No. 889 dated Lisbon 16 July 1941 reported the German naval attaché in Portugal to the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine at Berlin referred to a not confirmed Italian source that the Portuguese steamship Lobito departed from Lisbon on 8 July towards Africa had a cargo of war stores and fuel for the Azores.
