Auction at the Nieuwezyds Heeren Loogement, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Monday 2 April 1759 of 1/16 share in the Dutch whaler Bilbao, fluyt, commandeur Cornelis Butter, built in 1739, 6-7 boats, bookkeeper Jan Ludolph Cramer and dimensions 112 7/11 x 28 7½/11 x 12 8/11 and deck 6 10/11 feet. (1)

Greenland whaler, results in 1759: 6 whales, 92 barrels blubber and 137 quardelen whale oil, in 1760 was the last time Butter served as commandeur, which he had ben since 1745 and between 1750-1760 for Jan Ludolph Cramer, Amsterdam.
