Prototype design destroyer. Ordered on 16 July 1924, contract awarded on 8 August 1924, laid down by John I. Thornycroft, Woolston, England on 29 January 1925, launched on 27 January 1926, commissioned on 5 May 1927 and sold to be broken up on 25 October 1948.
