Bulgarian Lürssen type motor torpedo boats according to a C.I.A. report dated 13 November 1952

An item reported three Lürssen type motor torpedo boats built between 1938-1942. Displacement 60 tons and as dimensions 28 x 4.3 x 1.6 metres. With three Mercedes-Benz engines and 3,150hp horsepower was the speed 30 knots. Crew numbered 18 men. Armament consisted of 1 anti aircraft machine gun and 2-53.3cm torpedo tubes.

Note

1. Jane’s Fighting Ships 1958-1959 mentioned the No. 2 built by Lürssen, Vegesack, Germany in 1938.
