Japanese passenger-cargo ship Miyazaki Maru 1939-1944

Similar Hakozaki Maru (1939) and Miyazaki Maru (1939). Built by Mitsubishi Dockyard&Engineering Works in 1939-1940 and torpedoed and sunk by the American submarine USS Tautog SS-199 on the position 41-49 North and 141-12 East on 8 May 1944. Gross tonnage 3,944 tons, draught 9 (light)-22 (loaded) feet. Propulsion, single screw, coal bunker capacity 431 tons, range 3,600 nautical miles/11 knots and speed 11 (normal cruising)-12.5 (maximum) knots.
