The British and French navies off Bocca Trigris according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 7 September 1838

The Hague, 6 September. The newspaper Avondbode of Amsterdam published an item that according to rumours one of more British warships and a French frigate arrived to be stationed outside the Bocca Tigris to control the Chinese actions against foreigners.
