Harlingen, 30 July. Yesterday arrived the Greenland whaler Dirkje Adema with a catch of 200 seals and a small fish [a whale]. The other ship Spitsbergen was waiting off the port for high water and was to enter probably that evening. She had a catch of 1.000 seals. It wasn’t a quite successful voyage altogether for both ships.
