Danish East Indiaman Gyldne Løve wrecked in end 1730 according to the Dutch magazine Europische Mercurius

This Dutch magazine published all kind of information (for instance political and economical) dealing with was going within Europe. So it becomes possible to get an impression of what was common known within a country of what was going on in their own country and other European countries in their own time.

According to a tiding from London was the Danish East Indiaman Goude Leeuw [translation would be Gyldne Løve] master Jan Heetman underway from Copenhagen to Tranquebar wrecked off Ireland. The crew of 80 men and most of the cash money in board consisting of 12 boxes were saved. She had left the Sont with the Prins Christiaan bound for China.
