The naval policy of New Zealand according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 28 August 1913

The minister of defence discussed in the parliament the naval policy of New Zealand which had one purpose namely that his country would full filled her duties to the British empire and her own interests. Her warships were available for all affaires concerning the empire and under command of the British cabinet. The cabinet of New Zealand intended in now way to join the naval policy of Australia.
