According to the local newspaper Leeuwarder Courant of 12 October 1795, the auction master of the Convoyen en Licenten at Harlingen, Netherlands intended to sell on a public auction dated 29 October the brigantine Elisabeth with a cargo of 2200 pieces of lead, a prize of the French privateer Le Neptun, commanded by captain Teabelle.
