Woman sailors in Soviet navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 10 September 1930

According to a tiding coming from Moscow dated 9 September became it possible for woman to enter service within the Russian navy. The female workers gave themselves as volunteers at the squadron at Leningrad and from now on had the Russian fleet also female sailors.
