Letters from this factory arrived 26 October with the pantjalang Lamadjang coming via Cheribon. Costs of delivery stores to the crews of the Gaasperdam, Buvegnies and the so-called ‘afgelopen’(stranded) tandjongpoura het Rheedje amounted totally fl. 978. The civilian Van Dorth complained about the eight of the compensation for his during the expedition towards Wadjo lost sloop Reiger. Further more he wanted to be compensate for a lost rope and drag of his small vessel Oranje. The Beekvliet was after being stranded at the Laars repaired by her crew and continued her voyage towards Banda. Due to lacking timber for repairs the condition of the local vessels available was reason for concern and loading and unloading of the ships was delayed.
