Dimensions 60,6 (cvl)-65,1 (over all) x 16,4 x 2,9 (loaded) metres, a height of 4,4 metres and a deadweight of 675 tons. The two main diesel-electric engines of Wärtsilä 6L26 supplied 1,950 kW allowing a speed of 13 knots. Icebreaking performance 60cm ahead and 1 metre astern. The bolland pull was 34 tons. Both ships were in 1998 handed over to the owner Wagenborg Kazakhstan B.V. and were build at the Kvaerner Masa-Yards Helsinki New Shipyard (nowadays the Aker Yards Oy). The building was ordered in December 1997 by Wagenborg Kazakhstand BV a company which is part of the Dutch Royal Wagenborg ship owning group although operated by AGIP KCO for a long period charter. Specially designed to support the drilling platform located in the Northen Caspian Sea the year round despite the weather conditions. Both vessels are used to transport dry cargo, fresh water, fuel oil and so on, but also capable for fire fighting, rescue services and to act in pollution problems and can be used for towing and or anchor handling.
