Belgium not buying German merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 17 November 1939

An item dated Brussels 16 November reported that reliable sources denied that German shipbrokers offered the sale to the Belgian cabinet of certain German merchant ships which since the outbreak of the Second World sought refugee in Spanish harbours.
