French transport shouting for passing Dutch warship Hr.Ms. Gelderland with on board Paul Kruger according to the Dutch newspaper Goessche Courant dated 20 November 1900
An item referred to the British newspaper Daily Mail which reported that according to tidings from Port Said the crew of a French transport underway to Tonkin last Thursday while passing the Hr.Ms. Gelderland was shouting Yahoo for the South African president Kruger.
