Transport Maine transporting repatriated Germans to Rotterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 4 February 1920

An item reported that a day earlier the transport Maine coming from Australia and India underway to Rotterdam arrived at Plymouth, England with on board troops and around a hundred repatriated Germans. The transport was harassed by influenza with 150 disease cases and causing the death of two Germans. According to the newspaper Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode were there nearly 1,000 Germans on board.
