New cable laid between England and the Netherlands by the cable ship Faraday according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated 3 September 1924

An item dated that last Friday the laying of the new cable between the Netherlands and England was completed. She was of one piece and laid by the British cable ship Faraday and consisted of sixteen cores able for twelve conversations at the same time. Within two or three months the cable was ready to be used.
