Steamship Rosecrans wrecked according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode dated 10 January 1913

An item reported that the steamship Rosecrans a former army transport was wrecked on the rocks off Astoria, Oregon due to a hurricane causing the death of 33 crewmembers. There were still three survivors on board but it seemed impossible to save them.
