Turkish squadron arrived in the Bay of Suda according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 2 September 1850

An item dated London 31 August reported that a Turkish squadron coming from the Albanian coast arrived in the Bay of Suda, Candia for a stay of 14 days, consisting of 2 ships of the line, 3 frigates, 1 steamship and 1 cutter.
