Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 10 May 1811

The 2nd anchored a British frigate off the island Edam coming from Krauwang. A cartel launch with a board visited 10 May the island.
The 4th arrived a third British ship at the island Edam coming from the East and was joined by the other two ships. One disappeared out of sight towards the North and the other the next day to the East.
The 6th arrived a brig coming from the West and joined the ship off the island Edam.
The 7th afternoon departed the brig. In the meantime came a British ship from the East while both ships passed in the evening the North side of the island Hoorn direction North West.
The 8th was the brig out of sight and anchored the ship at the West side of Edam where another frigate still was lying.
The 9th was a third British ship sighted off the corner of Krauwang.
