An item dated Washington 7 April reported that the crew of the German gunboat Cormoran which was interned Guamo Santo (Guam) scuttled their ship refusing it to hand over to the American authorities. (1) Two non-commissioned officers and 5 sailors were killed, 20 officers, 12 non-commissioned officers and 321 sailors taken prisoner.
