An item reported that the Argentinean department of navy was discussing how to strengthen the Argentinean navy within the coming years, total costs 450.000.000 pesos. The parliament was basically informed and not given details. The commission was not united dealing with the numbers and types of the ships to be built by Argentinean or foreign shipyards. The never executed project for founding an own naval air force base was now to be realized and the naval air force herself was to be enlarged, costs 120.000.000 pesos. The final plans were to supplied after ending of the discussions to the president. Minister of navy on that moment was admiral Scasso.
