Belgium and her navy according to the Dutch newspaper De Tijd dated 28 September 1925

An item reported that the commission which had to investigate if Belgium needed a navy decided to vote on her meeting on Saturday 9 October for a yes or a no. The navy consisted of aged German ships and a gifted French warship. In Belgium was not much trust in the value of this navy in wartimes. It was even believed that when a 38cm gun of the enemy missed a Belgium warship with a distance of 2 kilometres, the warship still would sunk caused by the air-pressure.
