Chinese sailors union wanted to strike according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 7 March 1927

An item dated Shanghai 7 March reported that according to dings received from Canton tried the sailors union there to found communistic cells on board of all merchant ships. A temporarily appeal was to all sailors to strike. If the efforts were successful was also a general strike in Hong Kong to be expected.
