1. The website http://www.scheepsindex.nl/schip.php?i=10586 reports that she was built in 1838 in Dordrecht for H. Brunner in Dordrecht and finally sold in Batavia in 1851. The newspaper Rotterdamsche Courant dated Tuesday 27 March 1838 reported that last Saturday afternoon at the shipyard of B. (or C.?) van Limmen&Co. the keel was laid down of the Pictura for H. Brunner.
