Number of Russian high ranked navy officers dismissed according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 7 December 1908

An item reported that again within the Russian navy officers were dismissed. Since the last dismissal of 13 admirals were another eight to be dismissed just like 171 staff officers.
