Dutch bark ship Bestevaer bound for Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 2 April 1880

An announcement reported that the Dutch newly coppered bark ship Bestevaer captain C. van der Plas lying in the Oosterdok was to depart Amsterdam soon towards Batavia. Excellent passenger accommodation. Fore more details could be asked at Hoijman&Schuurman, Amsterdam.(1)
