Japanese minister of navy Takarabe and the London Naval Treaty according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder Nieuwsblad dated 31 May 1930

An tem dated London 30 May referred to the British newspaper Exchange Telegraph which reported that probable the Japanese minister of navy admiral Takarabe would resign.(1) This was a result of the motion of the Japanese navy council that the cabinet neglected the advice of the navy staff by signing the Naval Treaty of London.(2) It was even possible that the whole cabinet would resign.
