Dutch frigate ship Prins Hendrik launched at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van ‘s-Gravenhage dated 14 December 1838

An item reported that two days earlier at the shipyard de Zwarte Rave at the end of the Kleine Kattenburgerstraat by shipbuilder J. Knol the newly built frigate ship Prins Hendrik of circa 500 lasten was launched for Trakranen&Comp captain J.G. Veening destined for the Dutch East Indies trade.
