British cruiser HMS Amphion laid down according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1933 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 1 August reporting that the cruiser HMS Amphion was laid down on 26 June 1933.(1) In contrary to the Neptune was she to be fitted out with two funnels. Another magazine the Revue Maritime dated August reported that it was still unknown if she was to be armed with 9-152,cm guns of just like the HMS Leander with 8-15,2cm guns either that her contracted speed was to be increased to 36 knots.

1. Launched at the Portsmouth dockyard on 26 July 1934, In June 1939 renamed Perth as part of the Australian navy and on 1 March 1942 sunk in Strait Sunda after surviving the battle in the Java Sea against the Japanese navy on 28 February. Her armament consisted of 8-6” and 8-4” guns.
