Duch screw steamship Tosari built for the Dutch shipping company at Schiedam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated 11 March 1930

An item reported that at the shipyard N.V. Werf Gusto v/h Firma A.F. Smulders the single screw steamship Tosari for account of the for the Dutch shipping company Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij (K.P.M.) a day earlier just for 12.00 o’clock was launched. Her dimensions were 61,87 x 10,36 x 3,81 (hold below the upper deck). She was fitted out with a 8-cylinder MAN 500 ship diesel engine allowing a speed of 9,25 miles. She was the 3rd of four ships built by Gusto for this company.
