Dutch freighter Tamo 1940-1963 (Sperrbrecher 28 1840-1945, Vasilis 1963-1974, Evandros 1974-1978)

Of the NV Maatschappij Vrachtvaart of Rotterdam, Netherlands. Built by P. Smit Jr. at Rotterdam with yard number 546. Gross register tonnage 5.340 tons, deadweight 8.785 tons and as dimensions 451’0”x 59’0”x 24’6” or 129,53 x 17,98 x 10,82 metres. A speed of 13,0 knots. Her hull was grey painted and the funnel with a white painted letter ‘T’ in a broad red band. In 1940 seized by the Germans still uncompleted. Commissioned on 13 October 1943 as the Sperrbrecher 28?
