An item reported that the former German submarine U111 handed over to the Allies arrived that same day at Paris coming from the USA. She had left Plymouth on the 3rd with on board 4 officers and 30 men. Her design was similar to the U53 which visited in October 1916 Nieuwpoort and which destroyed on the same day she left this port six ships.
