French conscripts involved in naval shipbuilding at Flushing, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Binnenlandsche Bataafsche Courant dated 10 September 1803

An item dated Flushing the5th reported that at moment large number of conscripts arrived in the town however not for the corps. As a result of the well known decision of the French government were these men to work in the harbour and in the arsenals of the navy.(1)
