Pacific Squadron
Ship of the line North Carolina, commodore Ballard arrival at Rio Janeiro 28 April after a voyage of 388 days coming from Valparaiso, Chile. Everything was well on board. Her departure for New York was expected around 5 May.
Schooner Enterprise arrival at Rio Janeiro 22 April after a voyage of 47 days coming from Valparaiso, Chile. Her departure for Philadelphia was expected around 8 May.
Schooner Otsego acting lieutenant commander E.T. Shubrick departed apparently St. Augustine 9 June south wards.
The frigate Consitution captain Turner which was sighted 4 June at 22°30' and 69° reported that every thing was well on board. She left 12 days earlier New York.
Exploring squadron
Brig Porpoise captain Wilkes was sighted together with the tender Sea Gull 25 March. She left 28 days earlier Orange Harbor, Terra del Fuego destined for Palmer's Land. The Peacock and the tender Flying Fish departed Orange Harbor some days before the Porpoise.
