Restoring of the Spanish navy according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Groninger Courant dated 3 June 1763

According to a tiding dated Naples 10 May intended  the Spanish crown to restore the Spanish shipping which was much decayed during the reign of his predecessor. He sent apparently commissaries to all the ports in his empire to investigate what the real state was of his navy and ordered to strengthen it. According to rumours were commissions sent to England to buy there all the big ships which were to be sold.

The edition dated 16 August published a tiding dated Madrid 23 July according to which all naval yards were working with all haste to restore the navy similar to what happened in the French harbours
