The Austrian frigate il Guerriero with on board the grand
duke Frederik of Austria arrived 2 August at Toulon. The newspaper Allgemeine
Zeitung published tidings from Constantinople dated 18 July dealing with
the fact the Turkish Kapudan Pasha was ordered to stay near the Asiatic coast
and if the Egyptian fleet appeared not to avoid her but to attack her.
