The Greek navy in the Levant according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 21 June 1821

Paris, 16 June. According to private letters coming from several harbors at the Adriatic Sea and Livorno dated 3 June passed a Greek fleet of 72 ships the Dardanelles. The Turkish fortress there destroyed 7 ships but the rest sailed directly towards Lampsacus and Gallipoli from where they could enter the sea of Marmora and cruise off Constantinople.
