Greek and Turkish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 15 February 1826

Frankfurt, 10 February. It was stated that the Greek squadrons burnt 8 January 18 Turkish warships.

Constantinople, 3 January. In the arsenal was a flotilla fitted out for service in the Bosporus between Reschik-Basch and the mouth of the Black Sea. The Basch Bog of de Dona was to be the commanding officer of this flotilla. The Porte intended to embark all the youth which threatened the peace in the city and well known by their brigandage since the last fire at Galata on board of this flotilla.
