Venice, 28 June. The 26th arrived a merchant ship master Bonandini coming
after a voyage of 22 days from Alexandria.
Her master told the large expedition was ready to depart and consisting of 40
armed vessels of different sizes and a large number of transports loaded with
grain and cavalry. The son of the vice roi was expected to arrive every moment
and Bonandini heard salutes after he left and alreadywas some miles
distance from the port
