Bottomry for German bark Loreleij lying at Vlissingen, Netherlands wanted according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 20 February 1866

An announcement reported that shipbrokers De Groof&Hector of Vlissingen, Netherlands were searching interested in a bottomry in the German bark ship Loreleij of Mecklenburg captain Otto Klevenow. She was at that moment lying in the Navy dock at Vlissingen with a cargo destined for Constantinople and Odessa.(1)

Otto Klevenow captain of this bark with as homeport Rostock received a bottomry of ƒ 1.589,43 from Jan Baptist de Groot, Vlissingen against a premium of 22% so he would have ƒ 1.939,10 to pay back after returning safely at home.
