Her
building at the shipyard Kon.Mij. De Schelde at Vlissingen, Netherlands was
ordered on 20 December 1879 with yard number 19 , the building started while
using models, plated on 28 September 1880, launched on 3 August 1881 with
engine and boiler already on board, trials while berthed on 18 August,
technical trial on 28 October and on 31 December handed over to the Royal
Netherlands Navy. Stricken in 1905.
The
Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 13 December 1881 reported that she
departed on Sunday the 11th towards Nieuwediep for the official trial. She was
the last of the four steel-built torpedo boats delivered by this yard.

cylinder engine no. 25 delivering 250/350 ihp. Further more the locomotive
boiler no. 31 with a pressure of 120 lbs and a heating surface of 516 square feet.

cubic metres. One 3-bladed screw. Het crew numbered 10
men. The armament consisted of 1-3,7cm gun and a spar torpedo equipment.
