Intended sale of the Dutch bark Maria at Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 17 October 1867

An announcement reported the intended auction on Saturday the 19th at 18.30 o’clock in the upper room of the Societeit De Vergenoeging, Grote Markt, Middelburg, Netherlands of the fast copper tightened Dutch bark ship Maria with as last captain E.N.F. van Wulven. Coppered. Dimensions 33,86 (prow) x 6,00 x 4,98 (hold) metres, height between decks 2,00 metres, measuring 380 tons and launched in 1854 with her rigging. She could be visited two days before and on the day of the auction between 09.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00 o’clock.
