Bottomry asked for French bark Léocadie Marie lying at Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 25 November 1866

In an announcement was a bottomry of 6.000-7.000 asked on behalf of the French flagged bark ship Léocadie Marie captain De Cadenet asked. She was underway with a cargo of wood and iron from Gothenborg, Sweden towards La Ciotat, France and now lying at Den Helder, Netherlands with damage. For more details W.J.
