Croatian midget submarine (ex-Soca P 914 1985-1991) Velebit (P 01) 1991-

A modified Una-class midget submarine of type C-11. Built at Brodosplit, Split, Yugoslavia and in 1991 captured when Yugoslavia collapsed. Modified at Split by adding a section to the M-100D hull tube and fitting out with a diesel generator set. Original specification displacement 76 (surfaced)-88 (submerged) tons, an overall length of 18,8 metres and a dive depth of 105 (working0-120 (test)-182 (collapse) metres. After the modification are the specification a displacement of 88 (surfaced)-99 (submerged) tons and a dimensions 20,92 x 2,70 x 4,42 (moulded depth). Speed 8,0 (surfaced0-11,0 (submerged) knots. Able to transport (fitted externally) 6-500 kg mines or 4 R1 swimmer transport units. Her crew numbers 4 sailors extended with 6 swimmers. Range is 500 nautical miles and a speed of 8 knots using the snorkel or 135 nautical miles with a speed of 3 knots when submerged.
