Dutch bark Baron van Pallandt van Rosendael stranded on Dutch island Texel according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwdieper Courant dated 28 April 1867

An announcement reported the auction on Tuesday the 30th at 19.30 o’clock at Tivoli, Den Helder, Netherlands of the sale of the cargo of the Dutch bark ship Baron van Pallandt van Rosendael captain W.S. Kramers. She was stranded on the east coast of the Dutch island Texel. The cargo was stored in the warehouses of the shipyard De Hoop in the Binnenhaven and included around 1.600 bales of coffee and 150 kranjangs sugar.(1)

1. The inventory stored in the warehouses of the shipyard De Hoop in the Binnenhaven Den Helder was to be sold on Wednesday 8th May at 20.00 o’clock in Tivoli.
