Norwegian bark capsized at Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated 21 May 1864

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands the 20th reported that the Norwegian bark Haldez captain Cappelen capsized in the Binnenhaven caused by her rankness. She was unloaded and prepared to be keeled by the firm Lastdrager&Co. The heavy braces fitted to the masts to protect/support the rigging were partly to blame for this accident. All efforts were done get the masts out of the water.
