Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Leije launched at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 3 July 1827

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 23 June reported that on the same day with success at the navy yard the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. De Leije was launched.(1)

1. Leye or Leije,  on stocks in 1825, launched at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands on 27 June 1827 door P. Schijt jr., crown decision 9 October 1831 no. 100 and decision minister dated 14 October no. 1 decommissioned on 31 October and laid up, stricken and broken up 1833, dimensions 36,5 (between perpendiculars) x 10,00 (inner hull) x 4,25 (fore)-4,82 (aft) x 5,39 (depth below maindeck), displacement 775 tons, 28 guns (20-12pd guns of 20-30pd carronades, 8-12pd carronades, 6-2pd guns).
