Dutch bark Silinia nearly lost at Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated Saturday 15 June 1861

An item reported that on Thursday early in the morning the Dutch bark Silania captain Gomez coming van Aruba stranded west of the Lazarushuis on Curacao. A launch of the Dutch steamship Zr.Ms. Cornelis Dirks (1) captain lieutenant J.F. Koopman was sent to assist her with as result that she was refloated and able to sail towards the bay of Piscadera for repairs.
