Command over Dutch naval force in the Dutch West Indies transferred from captain Jöhr to captain Vogelpoot according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated Saturday 28 March 1857

An item reported that the command over the Dutch naval force in the Dutch West Indies was handed over by captain Jöhr commanding officer of the corvette Zr.Ms. Pallas(1) to captain G. Vogelpoot commanding officer of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Prins Maurits der Nederlands (2). The Pallas would depart on Monday the 30th.

Springers at Amsterdam, Netherlands Thursday 10th January1907, sold within some days to a group of persons at Den Helder, Netherlands to break her , 776 tons displacement, dimensions 36,50 x 10,30 x 4,80 metres, 18 (1869:medium 30pd)-26 guns and a crew of 200 men (1-10-1877).
